Alberta Blue Cross has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, results-driven proposal coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with a great attitude and work ethic.

The proposal coordinator is responsible for collaborating with our sales teams, marketing managers and graphic designers to create quality, consistent and accurate print and digital materials in support of our business units.  Reporting to the director of marketing, the proposal coordinator will prepare documents relating to Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid submissions, renewals and client presentations.   


  • Facilitates the creation of proposals, bids, quotations, finalist presentations and renewals.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of proposal templates, document library and content repository.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather the necessary information required to respond to customer requirements.
  • Follow corporate standards including branding, technical content accuracy and proposal guidelines.
  • Working closely with leadership team to identify and qualify various proposal requests (including RFPs, RFIs and RFQs).


  • Post secondary degree or diploma in business or comparable relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to easily build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and resourceful.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical ability, with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work independently to build process and systems around proposal and RFP management.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent problem solving and planning skills.
