FUNCTION:

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the Data Analyst will be quality focused, passionate, a quick learner, self motivated, analytical and detail oriented.  They will ensure a high caliber of data quality and will support in reporting the status of the deliverables across all stakeholders within the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tell Alberta Blue Cross’s Customer Experience story through Net Promoter Score, Customer Effort Score, VoC analysis, root cause and other methods
  • Responsible for measurement structure and processes for our organizational, business units, programs and projects around CX
  • Collaborates closely with our Analytics Resources Centre to effectively target and capture data and analysis
  •  Develop analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements in business processes.
  • The ability to transform  data into critical information and knowledge and have a propensity to seek out innovative new technologies, methods and best practices that can be used to make sound business decisions.
  • Use internal and external resources to gather information required for analysis
  • Analyzes data and reports to prepare presentations

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • A degree in Business Administration,  Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field(or equivalent experience) is required
  • Minimum three years experience in data analysis or data architecture
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Analytically minded with hands on skills in MS SQL, MS Office Suite and the ability to work with large and diverse sets of data
  • An understanding of how to interpret data including application of statistics
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and excel in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with varying priority to deliver timely results.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate and educate stakeholders on research, approaches and methodologies
