FUNCTION:

Alberta Blue Cross has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, results-driven marketing coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with a great attitude, work ethic and understands that the customer is at the centre of everything that we do.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop marketing project plans and schedules
  • Facilitate and manage marketing projects to ensure we deliver on-time and exceed our customers’ expectations.This may include but is not limited to targeted high impact presentations, handouts and collateral updates
  • Provide regular project status updates to our internal stakeholders
  • Assist in the production of content and materials for projects, including product launches, sales enablement and thought leadership
  • Analyze metrics and produce project summary reports
  • Provide feedback and new ideas to maximize the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Post secondary degree or diploma in marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of three years experience in a corporate environment
  • Natural ability to develop a connection and maintain positive and productive relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent client facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple marketing tasks, projects and deadlines all without jeopardizing quality.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Project management experience
  • Previous marketing experience would be an asset
  • Experience in using web analytic tools (Google Analytics) would be an asset.
