To put you on track for success, we’ve compiled this onboarding portal so you know what to expect from Alberta Blue Cross®, and what we expect from you.

First day

Welcome to Alberta Blue Cross®

On your first day, you’ll learn about our vision, values, competencies and what distinguishes us as an organization. You’ll also learn our basic systems, software and tools to get started.

Prior to one month

Compliance and benefit selection

Before the end of month one, you’ll take courses that will prepare you to select your benefit plan and walk you through our compliance training.

Two months

Engagement and performance

In this eLearn course, you’ll continue to learn how your performance aligns with our values and competencies and you’ll learn more ways to get connected in our community work.

After Two months

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I)

This interactive and engaging session will provide the opportunity for diversity, equity, and inclusion foundational learning.

Four months

Customer experience

Through an engaging session with our Customer Experience team, you’ll discover how you can bring customer care to your work every day.

Six months

Fair process

At Alberta Blue Cross®, we are committed to building a fair process culture, where we approach collaboration in a way that fosters trust and cooperation among team members by emphasizing transparency, engagement, consistency and feedback-driven adaptation in our decision making and actions.

Eight months

Wellness and mental health

Learn what wellness means at Alberta Blue Cross® from our Wellness team and participate in The Working Mind mental health training session.

Ten months

CX Essentials

Gain deeper insights on Customer Experience (CX) and the factors that promote a customer-centric culture within our organization, by understanding how everyone, including how your role, impacts our customers. Explore the business value of CX and gain an understanding on its importance in driving customer loyalty.

One year

Career and development

We believe in empowering the potential of our employees. Before you finish your first year, you’ll participate in an eLearn course to help you build out a meaningful and rewarding career path with us.
